After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, it never crossed my mind that I would transition into a career in Financial Services. 10 years later, I firmly believe I made the right decision.
I moved to the United States from Honduras in 2012 in pursuit of my master’s degree. While in school in 2014, I joined our team, then at United Capital, a national, fast-growing RIA. I was assigned to the firm’s retirement plan team in charge of servicing corporate 401(k), Profit Sharing, 403(b), Defined Benefit, and Deferred Compensation plans. Since then, I’ve worked closely with both plan sponsors and participants in navigating the complexities surrounding retirement plans. While I’m deeply involved in our client’s investment due diligence process, plan design, and vendor selection, the most fulfilling part of my job is educating plan participants on the benefits of savings for retirement.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, sports, binge watching crime drama television shows, and spending time with family and friends.
